چکیده

To achieve the flexible operation of active distribution network (ADN), an optimal control method for ADN considering soft open point (SOP) and thermostatically controlled loads under distributed photovoltaic (PV) access is proposed. First, mathematical model SOP are constructed based on flexibility thermal storage characteristic loads, respectively. Then, further constructed. The realized by adjusting transmission power switching state electric water heater. Finally, analysis various methods carried out, impact economic secure investigated. results show that proposed taps demand response potential while satisfying consumption habits different customers, utilizes reconfiguration with to improve security economy operation.

Modeling and Control of Thermostatically Controlled Loads

As the penetration of intermittent energy sources grows substantially, loads will be required to play an increasingly important role in compensating the fast timescale fluctuations in generated power. Recent numerical modeling of thermostatically controlled loads (TCLs) has demonstrated that such load following is feasible, but analytical models that satisfactorily quantify the aggregate power ...

Fast Distributed Power Regulation Method Via Networked Thermostatically Controlled Loads

This paper studies the problem of countering the fluctuations of renewable power supply in smart grid. A fully distributed algorithm to control a network of thermostatically controlled loads (TCLs) is proposed to match, in real time, the aggregated power consumption of the TCLs and the forecast power supply. The algorithm is developed by converting the control problem into a consensus problem o...

Best-Response Planning of Thermostatically Controlled Loads under Power Constraints

Renewable power sources such as wind and solar are inflexible in their energy production, which requires demand to rapidly follow supply to maintain an energy balance. Promising controllable demands are heat buffers that use electricity to maintain a temperature at a setpoint. Such Thermostatically Controlled Loads (TCLs) have been shown to be able to follow a power curve using reactive control...

Optimal energy management of the photovoltaic based distribution networks considering price responsive loads, energy storage systems and convex power flows.

Nowadays, presence of photovoltaic systems in distribution network is not without challenge and it may not have economic productivity for the system under the lack of optimal management. Energy storage systems are able to cope with this problem. Therefore, in this paper, a new method is proposed for energy management of the distribution networks in order to show that how presence of the energy ...

Efficient Desynchronization of Thermostatically Controlled Loads

This paper considers demand side management in smart power grid systems containing significant numbers of thermostatically controlled loads such as air conditioning systems, heat pumps, etc. Recent studies have shown that the overall power consumption of such systems can be regulated up and down centrally by broadcasting small setpoint change commands without significantly impacting consumer co...
